Safety, Health, and Environment are paramount to our organization. PNG Ports, through its Safety, Health, and Environment Team, is dedicated to ensuring the safety of all its stakeholders thus it is committed to ensuring a safe, healthy, and hazard-free working environment. PNG Ports, led by the Chief Executive Officer, is committed to providing visible and active support for PNG Port’s ongoing Safety, Health, and Environment initiatives.

We are driven by our goal to continuously improve the safety culture (including health and environment) in every aspect of our business operations. We will endeavor to achieve this by way of regularly reviewing, exploring, and improving the way we do things as it supports our vision of being the leader in innovative safety practices.

We are committed to complying with all applicable safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Currently, PNG Ports boasts accreditation of its Operations to International Standards in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 and is vigorously working towards maintaining these accreditations.

We will endeavor to provide the necessary support, mentorship, training, and advice that is critical to safe and efficient operations throughout and across the organization. We will endeavor to strive for excellence and foster a positive attitude of awareness and application of Safety through innovative safety initiatives.
