The Occupational Health Safety and Environment (OHSE)

Department plays a critical role in providing PNG Ports and its stakeholders support through its functions.Therefore, it requires continuous improvements and ongoing management through the development of the PNG Ports OHSE Management system. It involves programs and activities, which seeks to cater to the health, safety, well being of PNG Ports employees and the general environment.

OHSE Department has been incorporated under the Corporate Services Division, in an effort by PNG Ports to drive towards achieving International Port operational standards. It strives to develop an equipped OHSE culture at all PNG Ports port operations.
Currently PNG Ports boasts accreditation of its Head Office and Pom Port to International Standards and is vigorously working towards extending these accreditations to its other ports.
