There are no wharf mounted cranes, however, mobile cranes are available in most ports capable of lifting up to twenty (20) tonne containers. Shippers are advised though to check this before shipping heavier loads. Prior advice and approval must be sought from the relevant Port Authority.
Bulk Handling
There are no bulk cargo facilities in Papua New Guinea, except for Anewa Bay (Copper Concetrate) and the Jant Wharf at Madang (Woodchip).
